I'm a Level 3 personal trainer based at OJ Gyms Southernhay in Exeter, Devon.

A few years ago, I was in your shoes.

I was overweight, felt stuck, and had no clue what to even do in a gym. I vividly remember the anxiety and loathing I felt when I looked in the mirror.Through proper training, keeping myself accountable, reframing my mindset and a lot of trial and error, I lost over 20kg - and now I want to help you make a similar transformation.

Absolutely not - we start from where you're at, not where you think you "should" be.

    When you're training with me, there won't be any pressure, shouting or confusing fitness jargon being thrown around - we'll build a programme that's sustainable for you, and includes the exercises you enjoy progressing in.

    In the free consultation and movement assessment, we'll have a quick chat about your goals and what you're looking to get out of personal training, and then do a couple of common exercise movements (such as the hip hinge) so I can assess your mobility and form.

    To train with me in-person, you'll need to sign up to a membership at OJ Gyms Southernhay following our consultation and movement assessment. Information on memberships can be found here.

    If you book a block of sessions and realise that this isn't right for you, I'll refund you any sessions you haven't used yet. No stress.
